About the Career Guidance & Placement Cell:

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell has been formed to Guide the students in developing skills and job-search strategies required to achieve their career objectives.  To keep pace with the present stiff competition, the placement cell has undertaken several measures like organizing seminars, mock interviews, soft skills, communicative skills, personality development, corporate culture/etiquette and leadership skills for the students. The Mission of our career guidance and Placement Cell is to train the students on industry needs and provide the best opportunities available. The Cell offers students guidance regarding different paths in higher education and other career opportunities apart from placement support.

Equipping the students with relevant and conceptualized professional skills and guiding them towards a bright future and career all around the world with the values of – Sincerity, Hard Work and Justice.

Mission:

To create awareness amongst the students regarding available career options and to help them in identifying their career objective. To prepare students for campus recruitments by arranging training in aptitude tests, group discussions and preparing them for various interview rounds through professional trainers.

The Aims of the placement Cell:

To place the student in competitively good companies by identifying their knowledge skills, attitude matrices of every individual student, creating job profiles for them, identifying areas of training and various methods as per the training requirement, formulate sequence of activities to meet the training schedules for appropriate placement.

Activities of Career Guidance & Placement Cell:

• Interacting with the Potential Recruiters.
• Organizing Resume Writing and Interview(s) skills development sessions.
• Coordinating all the activities related to Placement
• Organize activities concerning career planning
• To assist students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions
• Gathering information about job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements
• Coordinating with companies to learn about their requirements and recruitment procedures
• Identifying the needs and expectations of the companies to assist them in recruiting most suitable candidates
• Organizing pre-placement training/workshops/seminars for students
• To assist students for industrial training
• To provide resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
• To act as a link between students, alumni, and the employment community.
• To assist students in obtaining placement in reputed companies.
